IT Program / Project Management, IT SupportFull-time positions at Clovis Community College are not remote positions and require a physical presence on campus to fulfill duties and college-related responsibilities.

THIS IS A TWELVE-MONTH RENEWABLE POSITION CONTINGENT UPON GRANT FUNDING.

The IT/DHSS Project Manager will coordinate and administer the Digital Holistic Student Support project designed to streamline data access and technologies through the adoption of a Unified Data and Technology System designed to improve student retention, engagement, academic advising, and overall success across the college. This position will ensure project progress and alignment with institutional Student Success goals by planning, implementing, and managing student-facing and operational technology projects, including early alert systems, analytics platforms, advising tools, workflow automation, and communication systems. This role is responsible for overall project success through cross departmental collaboration, resource coordination, and the evaluation of project outcomes against Student Success objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support Unified Data and Technology System project.

  • Implement project plans, monitor progress, track milestones, and recommend changes to improve team effectiveness and project outcomes.

  • Serve as a liaison between IT, Institutional Research, Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, academic units, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution and adoption.

  • Gather requirements from Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, Academic Advising, Academic Divisions, and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions support institutional Student Success strategies.

  • Participate in the development and refinement of data policies, project objectives, and long-range planning for Student Success technologies.

  • Lead efforts to identify opportunities for improved student engagement, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiencies through technology.

  • Communicate project updates, risks, and change impacts to leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Analyze data from advising tools and analytics dashboards to measure project effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

  • Generate project documentation and reports to support decision-making and demonstrate impact on Student Success outcomes.

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned in support of institutional Student Success objectives.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; Knowledge of student success technologies; Strong project management skills and understanding of PM principles and tools

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires frequent standing, sitting, walking and continuous movement within the College and off-site locations. Requires frequent pushing and pulling of up to 10 lbs. Continuous handling of paper and paper materials required.

SCHEDULE DETAILS:

Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Business, or a related field required.

  • At least 2 years of experience directly related to project management or technology implementation within education, Student Affairs, academic advising, or related functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Business, or a related field required; 3-5 years of experience directly related to project management or technology implementation within education, Student Affairs, academic advising, or related functions.
