Job Description

DATAMARK, Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Italian Language Interpreter to join our team. This role involves facilitating accurate and effective communication between Italian and English-speaking clients in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Italian and English languages and possess cultural sensitivity to ensure nuanced and precise interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret spoken communication accurately and impartially between Italian and English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical standards throughout all interpretation sessions.
  • Adapt interpretations to the context and cultural nuances of the conversation in Italian and English Language.
  • Stay updated on relevant terminology and industry-specific language to provide high-quality interpretations.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and improve interpretation skills.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Italian and English, with excellent verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Prior experience in interpretation or related roles is preferred.
  • Strong listening and comprehension abilities to accurately convey messages.
  • Cultural competence and understanding of Italian-speaking communities.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive or complex conversations with discretion in Italian and English.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
