Job Description

Summary:
The senior Manager of Web Development provides strategic guidance to the design, development, and maintenance of Arrowhead Engineered Products web experiences using modern development tools and platforms in partnership with the Director of Enterprise Architecture.
This position will have overall responsibilities for web experience deliverables supporting strategic initiatives, Mergers and Acquisitions, and daily business activities. They will be responsible for developing and leading a team of managers that oversee the daily development activities that create and maintain web experiences for Arrowhead Engineered Products. They will also develop strong business relationships with various Ecommerce, Marketing, and Sales team members and up and down the leadership organization. They may also lead individual contributors that help support their team goals and projects.

Duties:
• Sets priorities, goals, and objectives for the web experience teams in alignment with those of Arrowhead, IT, and Functional Business Partners
• Ensures full-time and augmented labor pool aligns with workload and delivery expectations
• Oversees resource planning, providing work direction, and personnel development for the web experience teams.
• Plays a key role in the development of strategic roadmaps for enterprise platforms, including submitting new projects, resource planning, and scheduling.
• Performs full range of managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, coaching, developing employees, planning, assigning/directing work and employee performance management. Works closely with other leaders in IT to optimize team performance and identify resource needs.
• Establishes the IT standards and governance pertaining to web experiences.
• Establishes application monitoring, support management, and escalation practices for n-tier support related to web experiences.
• Ensure teams follow established IT standards and governance.
• Works with other IT leaders to ensure proper documentation of web experience architecture, standards, and processes.
• Works closely with hardware, software, and resource vendors to ensure strong engagement with our partners for both strategic efforts and tactical support needs.
• Communicates frequently with Senior Leadership Team and Middle Leadership Team peers, providing updates on key initiatives and engaging in strategic planning efforts.
• Works closely with IT leadership to ensure coordination of effort and priority and efficient delivery of solutions.
• Works with our internal customers to build strong SME resources and robust tools to allow our partners to be more self-service oriented and able to fulfill their needs more quickly.
• Contributes technical expertise to large scale initiatives; maintains knowledge of technology industry advances impacting web experiences, application development, or technology management

Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant technical experience
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in an IT Role
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team/group setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Previous technical and leadership experience over B2B and DTC Ecommerce, brand sites, website development teams, or mobile application development, ideally in a high-volume distribution environment
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build sophisticated solutions with minimal managerial oversight
• Strong analytical skills: ability to gather relevant data and make informed decisions.
• Strong background in the information processing requirements of a manufacturer/distributor.
• Experience integrating website platforms (SuiteCommerce Advanced, Magento, Big Commerce, Laravel) with ERP systems (S2K, NetSuite, Prophet 21, Dynamics GP), PIM systems (Agility Multichannel), Shipping Services, and Payment Processors.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and forecasting.
• Demonstrated business judgement and decision-making skills.
• Ability to deliver technical and non-technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization.
