Job Title: Business Process Specialist
Role : IT Vendor Management
Pratt and Whitney (PW) has an opening for a Business Process Specialist.
The Partner Ecosystem Office within the Digital Technology Transformation Office is looking for a passionate candidate to integrate all aspects of the vendor relationships and governance supporting Enterprise and the transformation initiatives through collaborating and partnering with vendors, leaders, and functional service owners. A key component of the role is ensuring the ongoing oversight and management of the sourced relationships. The position is designed to support & assist the various DT internal functions in the tracking of their vendor relationships and performance. The preferred candidate will work closely with our Procurement & external vendor partners in this role.
What You will do:
Performance Management
- Structure large vendor data sets to build work packages for saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with global team members to collect and analyze vendor data and lead initiatives
- Create, catalog, and reconcile scope packages for Vendor contracts and long-term agreements.
- Support activities and data collection develop long-term agreements.
- Develops and maintains program and process by which vendor performance is measured and evaluated.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting for vendors.
- Work closely with Pratt & Whitney sourcing team on vendor recommendations.
- Works with Vendors and functional leads to develop annual goals and performance metrics, including and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Analyzing market conditions to identify opportunities for growth, such as new markets or new products.
- Provides ongoing due diligence of the vendor(s)
- Keeps abreast of industry service delivery trends and strategic sourcing leading practices and provides guidance to functional leads.
Relationship Management
- Conducts periodic vendor reviews/evaluations that consider project-level performance as well as the holistic vendor relationship; manages supplier scorecards, contract compliance and service obligations.
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and the ability to serve as point of contact for matters concerning strategic contracts.
- Reviews Audits reports and Risk Assessments and works with Vendor to close gaps and issues.
- Provides support and guidance to functional leads with any vendor / contract related issues.
- Accountable for establishing a robust supplier engagement plans and governance structure to ensure quality.
- Manages conflict resolution and vendor/contract related issues and escalations as needed.
- Keeps abreast of industry service delivery trends and strategic sourcing leading practices and provides guidance to functional leads.
- Acts as the escalation point for issues relating to performance or deviations from original estimates, taking action to remedy the issues and managing through to resolution.
- Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality and the timeliness of deliverables.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of project/program management experience; or Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of project/program management experience.
- Information Technology /Computer Science skills, analytical, presentation skills
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the customers and organization.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and accounting principles
- Solid understanding of Performance based contract management.
- Developing relationships with service providers
- Understanding of vendor management fundamentals, contract management leadership and excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and lead by influence for strategic technical leadership and creation of long-term strategy roadmaps aligning and communicating with all levels of the business and multi-disciplinary teams.

- Problem solving and Interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP, Ariba, SAP Fieldglass
- Experience with SharePoint Administration
- Experience in supporting multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment of rapidly changing solutions and priorities.
