IT Test Lead | 12-month fixed-term contract

Port Melbourne based

The Role

Bega Group are looking for an experienced Test Lead to drive end-to-end testing and quality outcomes across critical enterprise transformation initiatives at Bega Group. Reporting to the Manager – IT Quality & Testing, you will lead testing activities for the Workforce Management replacement program (Kronos to Humanforce) and support broader data and technology projects. You will play a key role in ensuring robust testing governance, quality delivery, risk management and production-ready outcomes across complex, multi-vendor environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of testing including System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, Regression Testing, Payroll Parallels and Release Readiness activities

  • Develop, maintain and govern test strategies, plans, schedules and quality assurance frameworks for enterprise programs

  • Manage day-to-day testing delivery across internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners

  • Provide clear reporting on testing progress, defects, risks and quality outcomes to project and senior stakeholder

  • Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, governance standards, tooling and automation capabilities

About You

  • Demonstrated experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager delivering testing across large and complex transformation programs

  • Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled tools and modern testing technologies to improve testing efficiency, coverage and delivery outcomes

  • Strong expertise in test strategy, governance, defect management, risk-based testing and release readiness assessment and hands-on experience using JIRA for test management, defect tracking and reporting

  • Exposure to UiPath or similar automation technologies, with experience across integration and data-driven testing environments

  • Experience supporting workforce management, HR, payroll or enterprise SaaS implementations within complex organisational environments
