IT Technologist – SCCM & OSD Administrator
Operations & Support
• Support day-to-day SCCM and OSD operations in a global enterprise environment
• Monitor application deployments, software updates, and endpoint compliance
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for endpoint management services
• Coordinate and support MSP-managed operational activities
• Maintain and update operational documentation, technical procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Participate in endpoint lifecycle management initiatives, including device provisioning and refresh programs
• Support reporting and metrics related to deployment success, patch compliance, and client health
Security & Compliance
• Understanding of endpoint security and device management best practices
• Support deployment and maintenance of enterprise security and compliance configurations
• Assist in remediation of vulnerability and compliance findings impacting managed endpoints
• Ensure adherence to corporate security, governance, and compliance standards
• Support secure operating system deployment and lifecycle management processes
Technical Administrator Job Requirements
Experience
• 2+ years of experience in endpoint management, desktop engineering, or systems administration
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Windows device management environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)
• Experience supporting Operating System Deployment (OSD) activities, including imaging, task sequences, and driver management
• Experience troubleshooting endpoint management and software deployment issues
• Experience working with operational support teams and escalating complex technical issues when required
Technical Skills
• Language Requirement: Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Strong knowledge of Windows endpoint management and administration
• Experience with SCCM administration, including:
o Software deployment and application packaging
o Software Update Point (SUP) and patch management
o Collections, deployments, and maintenance windows
o Client health monitoring and remediation
o Inventory and reporting
• Strong understanding of Operating System Deployment (OSD), including:
o Task sequence creation and maintenance
o Driver package management
o Boot images and PXE deployment
o Image lifecycle management
• Experience with troubleshooting SCCM client and deployment issues
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Entra ID fundamentals
• Familiarity with Intune and co-management concepts preferred
• Experience with Windows feature updates and servicing practices preferred
Education / Certifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
o Equivalent experience acceptable (4+ years)
Preferred Certifications:
o Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
o Microsoft Configuration Manager or related endpoint management certifications
o ITIL Foundation (preferred)
