IT-TECHNIKER IM RECHENZENTRUMSBETRIEB (M/W/D)

You are a problem-solver, sticking to challenges and convincing with your independent work style and a high willingness to learn. Structured cabling and efficient rack design are in your blood, and you have a good understanding of critical infrastructures and their interconnections, which you bring to the projects.

#Profile

• Operation of our own data center DATASIX together with a team of 5
• Installations, deinstallations, and relocation of IT hardware as well as extensive maintenance work
• On-site fault analysis and troubleshooting in our data centers, as well as administration and operational activities of data center components
• Design, implementation, further development, and securing of data center operations
• Management of structured cabling systems including planning, documentation, and implementation

#Wanted

• Experience in data center operations
• Knowledge of data center technology, especially structured cabling (fiber optics, copper, power)
• Knowledge in one of these areas: refrigeration/air conditioning technology, ventilation, electrical engineering (batteries, UPS, diesel generators, NSHV) as well as management systems for these areas is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks)
• Team player and high sense of responsibility
• Accurate and service-oriented work style
• Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing
