The IT Support Technician (L2) supports the efficient day-to-day operations of the IT department
by managing tasks such as computer setups, desk moves, and hardware inventory maintenance
while troubleshooting end user issues with network connectivity, software, and shared services
such as printers.
Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite support for software and hardware related issues
• Provide excellent customer service to end users who need assistance
• Perform desk and computer moves, including setting up Windows, Linux, and macOS environments using Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues and escalate unresolved issues to remote IT Support Team.
• Setup and deliver laptops and accessories to new employees.
• Act as single point of contact by recovering IT assets from employees who are leaving the company.
• Calibrate monitors and assist with hardware shipping, tagging, and unboxing.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and flag inventory needs with procurement.
• Maintain accurate asset counts and assignments in Netflix’s Asset Management System.
• Handle daily walk-in support and administrative tasks.
• Identify areas for IT environment improvements and suggest solutions.
• Participate in stock audits and manage minimum inventory levels.
• Ticket Management – triage, allocate, and resolve support tickets in line with standard SLAs
• Provide support to Facilities and external vendors performing routine maintenance
• Complete IT special projects, such as office moves and system migrations, as assigned to them
