Job Category: Information TechnologyThe IT Technician II will be responsible for the daily maintenance, upgrade and repair of
workstations in the network system and is responsible for the necessary duties as follows:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide network support to ensure reliable network operations.
2. Provide technical support to team members regarding software concerns and/or training
issues.
3. Maintain, upgrade and repair all computer related equipment diagnosed with problems or
assigned by the IT Technician III, IT Manager or IT Director.
4. Maintain, upgrade and repair all software and configuration of software being implemented
on workstations throughout the network environment.
5. Provide daily logs of activities detailing all work related to the assignments schedule.
6. Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of the gaming hardware, and software,
and configuration used on the network system.
7. Responsible for immediately notifying the IT Management, whether in person or via
communications device, of any event that poses security risks in the network environment.
8. Provide technical support assistance to the any Department should request be made for
diagnostic procedures on equipment directly related to computer operations.
9. Configure and maintain systems implemented on the network.
10. Monitor and report on network controllers and abnormal network traffic.
11. Monitor and update user access system
12. Maintain knowledge of the network topology.
13. Create part list and notify management on inventory needed for projects.
14. Assist vendors on setup of new systems/upgrades on the network.
15. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs
required.
16. All other departmental duties assigned.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. Associates Degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum (2) two years experience maintaining, upgrading and repairing computer-related
equipment and as a technician in a network environment with extensive knowledge of the
OSI model.
3. Minimum (2) two years experience building computers from the component level up and
working with the Microsoft Windows platform of operating systems.
4. Ability to install operating system software, system driver software and application driven
software.
5. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair computer problems and comprehend technical
material.
6. Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming
Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
1. While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to talk, hear,
stand, and sit.
2. Repeatedly required to use hand to finger to handle, feel objects, tools or controls to reach
with hands and arms.
3. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
4. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
6. Environment is in an office setting with occasional visits to the casino floor.
7. Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
8. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable
accommodation.
REPORTS TO: IT Technician III
SUPERVISES: None
HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
SALARY: $23.00/hour / weekly pay / overtime eligible
