Job Description

What you’ll do:

Based onsite in our Arnage site and working across multiple French sites, you will help end-users resolve issues with GKN Technology.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Ensure the processing of incidents and requests via the ticketing tool
  • Respond to user incidents, troubleshoot and diagnose problems and identify solutions with IT equipment and applications
  • Deliver agreed changes to local IT configuration, aligning to Global Standards whilst following GKN IT policies and procedures
  • Update knowledge articles after resolution
  • Participate in the upgrade of equipment according to the defined life cycle
  • Train users on IT best practices and cybersecurity
  • Manage user accounts (create, modify, delete)
  • Manage local equipment, software and backups

What you’ll need:

Strong proficiency in IT support from 1st line queries to more complex project change with experience in:

  • Virtualisation: VMWare
  • Systems: Windows Server, Active Directory
  • Collaboration: Office 365, SharePoint
  • Networks: CISCO Interfaces
  • Notions in cybersecurity

Fluency in English both written and verbal

Mobility :

Regular travel is to be expected :

- Once a month to our site In Poissy.

- 2 to 3 times a year to our site in Ribemont.

- Once a year to international sites.
