Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, and maintaining our clients' IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems
- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and functioning effectively
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement new technology solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the IT industry
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate records
- Provide training and support to clients on new technology systems and software
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
