IT TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST - EMEA

Our EMEA IT Business Systems division is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join our team. This role involves supporting, improving, and rolling out several business IT systems across Europe and Africa.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in projects for the implementation and evolution of business systems (ERP, MIS, Scheduling, Data Collection, etc.) across plants in Europe and Africa.
• Standardize processes and configurations while identifying and addressing functionality gaps.
• Analyse and review Business Requirements and client change requests, assess their nature (development request, defect, setup error, etc.), and prioritize accordingly.
• Provide the development team with comprehensive test cases for detected defects.
• Conduct client training sessions to ensure effective system usage.
• Perform support activities for business systems using ticketing systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing and optimising processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of business systems through configuration, report development, and creation of interfaces to third-party systems.
• Offer technical input using development and database knowledge.
• Test and produce new releases or patches.
• Collaborate consistently with colleagues in globally distributed teams.
SKILL & EXPERIENCES
• Master’s degrees in engineering, Computer Science or similar
• At least 3 years of work experience related to the implementation and support of complex business systems, such as ERP or similar
• Very familiar with report development, including use of Crystal Reports would be considered a plus
• Expert knowledge of SQL language and ability to navigate and extract and import data to and from database.

The office will be in Lucca or Glasgow, but the contract will provide for forms of smart working, to be agreed. Applications from more experienced figures are also evaluated and the remuneration will be commensurate with the actual experience.

Per l’ampliamento del team IT–EMEA, siamo alla ricerca di un Business Analyst che ha maturato esperienza nell’implementazione e supporto di ERP nel contesto di aziende di produzione.
PRINCIPALI ATTIVITÀ
• Partecipare a progetti di implementazione ed evoluzione di sistemi di business (ERP, BI, MIS, Scheduling, Data Collection, etc…) su stabilimenti dislocati tra Europa ed Africa
• Implementare processi / configurazioni standard e identificare i functional gaps
• Analizzare e rivedere i requisiti aziendali e le richieste di modifica del cliente e valutarne la natura (richiesta di sviluppo, difetto, errore di configurazione, ...) e la priorità
• Fornire al team di sviluppo casi di test esaustivi sui difetti rilevati
• Formazione degli utenti finali
• Svolgere attività di supporto per i sistemi di business, attraverso l’utilizzo di sistemi di ticketing
• Supportare iniziative di miglioramento continuo, attraverso l’analisi e l’ottimizzazione dei processi
• Contribuire all’evoluzione dei sistemi di business attraverso la loro configurazione, lo sviluppo di reportistica, la realizzazione di interfacce verso terze parti.
• Test e messa in produzione di nuove release o patch
• Collaborazione costante con colleghi dislocati in diversi gruppi distribuiti globalmente
COMPETENZE ED ESPERIENZA
• Laura in Ingegneria, Scienze dell’Informazione o simili
• Almeno n.3 anni di esperienza lavorativa inerente all’implementazione e al supporto di sistemi di business complessi, come ERP o simili
• Buona conoscenza del linguaggio SQL e capacità di navigare ed estrarre dati da un database
• Orientamento al cliente
• Ottime capacità di comunicazione scritta e verbale in inglese
• Capacità di presentare informazioni complesse in modo chiaro e strutturato
• Autonomo, rigoroso e ben organizzato
• Resiliente sotto pressione
• Capacità di lavorare di propria iniziativa e rispettare le scadenze, flessibile e adattabile
• Desiderosi di imparare e auto-formarsi su nuove aree di business all'interno del settore della stampa di etichette
• Pronto a viaggiare in Europa, fino al 20% dell'orario di lavoro se consentito dalle condizioni di sicurezza
