Job Description

The Systems Analyst II examines and evaluates an organization's existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Works closely with stakeholders to understand the needs and translate them into technical requirements for new or enhanced systems. This role involves analyzing data, designing system solutions, and collaborating with IT teams to implement and test these solutions, ultimately aiming to optimize business operations and achieve organizational goals. Systems Analysts bridge the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Public Trust level.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune reporting.
  • Experience with MECM reporting and SQL-based reporting.
  • Experience creating Power BI dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Defender reporting and Log Analytics.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
  • PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Jamf Pro reporting preferred.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, or Microsoft Sentinel preferred.
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53 compliance reporting preferred.
  • Experience supporting ATO/RMF documentation and continuous monitoring activities preferred.
  • Experience supporting HHS, NIH, or other federal agencies.
  • PL-300 Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification.
  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain enterprise operational dashboards utilizing Power BI, Microsoft Graph, Log Analytics, Defender XDR, Intune, MECM, and Jamf reporting.
  • Produce executive, operational, and technical reports supporting endpoint modernization initiatives.
  • Monitor device compliance, encryption status, security posture, software deployment success, patch compliance, and endpoint health.
  • Analyze endpoint telemetry to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create KPI dashboards measuring enrollment progress, policy compliance, software deployment success, vulnerability remediation, and operational performance.
  • Support audit requests, RMF activities, ATO sustainment, and cybersecurity reporting requirements.
  • Validate reporting accuracy across multiple endpoint management platforms.
  • Develop automated reporting processes utilizing PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Coordinate recurring operational reporting for customer leadership and program management.
  • Identify reporting gaps and recommend new operational metrics supporting enterprise endpoint services.
  • Support service reviews, governance meetings, and executive briefings through development of presentation-quality reporting.
  • Assist engineering teams with data analysis supporting incident response, troubleshooting, and platform optimization.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in technology, or related field of study and a minimum of 3+ years of experience with enterprise reporting or endpoint analytics.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The estimated pay range for this role is $95,000 to $120,000 with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
