At United Federal Credit Union, technology plays a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences for our members and employees. We're looking for an experienced IT System Reliability Manager to lead a team responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, and stability of our technology environment while driving continuous improvement across systems, applications, and infrastructure.

As the IT System Reliability Manager, you'll oversee operational support, incident management, system monitoring, disaster recovery readiness, and technology lifecycle initiatives. You'll collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure our systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for system reliability and operational support.
  • Ensure maximum uptime, stability, and performance of business-critical applications and infrastructure.
  • Oversee incident management, problem resolution, and service delivery activities.
  • Implement proactive monitoring, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with business, project, and technology teams to prioritize and deliver technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and ITIL-aligned processes.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and readiness efforts.
  • Manage assigned operational and capital budgets.
  • Foster strong vendor partnerships and help optimize third-party technology services.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within an Information Technology environment.
  • Experience leading technology programs, projects, or operational teams.
  • Industry-recognized certification such as ITIL, PMP, CAPM, Project+, Server, Database, or related designation.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, application support, infrastructure, and operational best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within ITIL, COBIT, NIST, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
  • Background supporting financial services, banking, or credit union technology environments.
  • Experience managing integrated systems such as core banking platforms, digital banking solutions, payment networks, or loan origination systems.
