About the Team
We are a specialized, globally distributed IT team of six members: four based in Europe, one in Australia, and one in the Americas. Together, we deliver, operate, and continuously improve TOMRA’s service delivery platform infrastructure. Our mission is to provide stable, secure, and scalable platforms that enable smooth and reliable IT operations.
About the Role
As an IT Systems Engineer – Platform & Cloud Infrastructure, you will play a key role in ensuring TOMRA’s IT systems are reliable, secure, and high-performing — both on-premises and in the cloud. You will be part of our global IT Service Delivery team, collaborating closely with IT Service Design and contributing to the successful transition of projects into operations.
The role is based at TOMRA’s global headquarters in Asker, Norway Occasional travel to other TOMRA locations should be expected.

We do belive that you have proven experience working as a System Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role, with strong expertise in server, storage, and backup environments. You possess good knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V, and you have hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, along with hybrid IT architectures.

You enjoy collaborating across a global team, working with colleagues from different locations and disciplines, and you understand how to balance performance, security, compliance and cost in day‑to‑day operations.
