Responsibilities:
Development and support of Linux OS installation, upgrade and configuration
procedures and tools.
Application Life-Cycle tools and procedures: development and support
Computing, networking and peripheral hardware configuration and setting for Run-
Time environments.
Applications and OS performance analysis and performance tuning.
Development environment and tool support.
Linux OS Security hardening, settings and tuning.
Skills Required:
High level skills in Linux OS system Administration.
Comprehensive knowledge in Linux networking
Knowledge and experience in Linux OS hardening
Good knowledge on Linux virtualization and automation tools (Puppet,Ansible,Jenkins)
Comprehensive knowledge and wide experience in shell scripting
Good human relations, high motivation, multi-tasking, team player
Skills Preferred (optional):
Understanding of SW development process and tools – desired
Knowledge in Solaris administration, Zones and ZFS File system – desired
Experience with RDBMS (oracle) + SQL language – Advantage
Experience with Oracle Middleware SW – Advantage
Knowledge in VMware – Advantage
Perl / Python scripting - Advantage

Experience: 8-12 Years
