The Venue IT Systems Administrator & Event Support role owns day-to-day IT operations for the stadium, including workstation and server maintenance, identity/email administration, cyber security, and live event technology support. The role also supports event credentialing technology, ABI/badge/terminal systems, EOC technology readiness, and user/device onboarding/offboarding

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1)Endpoint Fleet Support

  • Provide operational support for 50+ workstations/laptops spanning Guest Services, viewing stations, event laptops, and administrative employee devices.
  • Administer and maintain recurring endpoint security/filtering services, including workstation cloud web filtering and cloud email spam filtering.
  • Perform workstation maintenance and remediation (BIOS updates, software cleanup/uninstalls, general PC performance tuning).
  • Troubleshoot peripherals and printing (driver reinstall, printer setup/moves, badge printer cleaning and repositioning).
  • Support endpoint level cybersecurity controls and assist with phishing response, email quarantine handling, and secure device configuration.
  • Ensure endpoint practices align with league and organizational security requirements during daily operations and live events.

2) Server, Backup, and Systems Health

  • Maintain and monitor – Multiple servers (including camera servers, virtual hosts, file server, domain controller, lighting servers, BAS server, and related venue systems).
  • Execute recurring server maintenance

3) Identity, Email, and Collaboration Administration (M365)

  • Handle onboarding/offboarding tasks
  • Administer distribution groups and email routing tasks
  • Manage spam/quarantine workflows
  • Provide mailbox-level support
  • Support MFA/authenticator setup and resets as needed for business continuity

4) Venue Operational Systems

  • Support ABI terminals/badge-related equipment.
  • Configure and support iPads used for operations

5) Event Technology Support (On-Site, Pre/During/Post Event)

  • Provide on-site event support covering system/server health checks, ABI checks, workstation readiness, guest services systems, user support during events, and operational tasks.
  • Support NFL activities during events: programming, placement, connectivity evaluation, and setup on event networks.
  • Support special events (concerts, soccer, races, games) with pre-event checks and real-time troubleshooting.

6) Security Readiness, Awareness, and Documentation

  • Support security work and coordination: suspicious email investigation, distribution of phishing awareness messaging, and documented security discussions/planning with leadership and corporate stakeholders.
  • Create/maintain operational documentation and procedures.
  • Support audit-related requests by collecting and providing required IT/system items for annual audits and participating in auditor discussions when needed.

7) Vendor and Facilities Coordination

  • Coordinate with vendors for IT-related procurement and facility technology.
  • Participate in planning for infrastructure/space needs

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience providing technical support in a corporate or help desk environment
  • Hands-on experience with hardware/software troubleshooting, user account management, and basic network support.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Clear, professional communication abilities when working with both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize tickets, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
  • Familiarity with IT best practices around security, system maintenance, and user support.
