KBR is seeking an IT System Administrator with Automic expertise to join our IT team. This person will play a critical role in enabling KBR’s enterprise-wide automation strategy, supporting business-critical integrations and digital delivery across global operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business partnership and innovation capabilities to drive reliable, scalable automation solutions.
Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and application owners to understand automation requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
Support SAP R/3 4.7 job schedules (SM36 & SM37), Informatica (OS command lines), and enterprise application teams by enabling reliable scheduling and integration services
Collaborate across global teams to ensure continuity and alignment between STS and MTS environments
Drive continuous improvement of automation processes and workflows
Explore modern authentication (SSO), security, and integration enhancements
Identify opportunities to optimize job scheduling, reduce manual effort, and enhance platform efficiency
Deliver and maintain enterprise scheduling and automation capabilities using Automic (UC4)
Support end-to-end automation including SAP jobs, Informatica workflows, and file-based integrations
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of automation platforms supporting critical business processes
Administer and support Automic (UC4) environments (v24.x)
Configure workflows, schedules, and dependencies
Manage Automic components including Automation Engine, Agents, and Service Manager
Perform installation and configuration on Windows and Linux systems
Troubleshoot job failures and system issues
Manage users, roles, and security within Automic
Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field
7+ years directly related work experience
In lieu of formal education, 15+ years related experience
Hands on experience with Automic (UC4) platform
Knowledge of Windows and Linux scripting
Experience with SAP job scheduling and Informatica workflows
Expertise with Automic RAFTP, SFTP, PGP encryption, and file interfaces
Oracle SQL for troubleshooting and performance tuning
Experience with LDAP, SSO, and web-based interfaces (AWI, Jetty)
