The job
In a department with more than 700 uses in many different categories, covering two facilities, primary task will be maintenance and optimization of our IT platforms. You will assist in troubleshooting within our platforms, networks and infrastructure. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our systems are maintained at a secure level, for both operating systems and applications.
Since we work within a line of business where documentation is critical to any task, it will be your duty to assist on reviews of users, configurations, IT-security and services. You will also assist in maintaining documentation for procedures regarding all before mentioned, as well as training internal and external employees working for Novo Nordisk. You will become a part of a team with an exciting week of work with a lot of challenges and good colleagues with a high level of competence.
The job requires physical presence in Kalundborg, Denmark. Both Danish and English in speech and writing is a requirement for this position.
About the department
You will join the IT Team covering two facilities, in Kalundborg Denmark. We are part of a new central IT organisation GMS API IT, with approximately 170 colleagues across Denmark and US. We cover support to our purification plant, with compliance, IT security and daily operation of our IT/OT production solutions.
The IT team consist of 18 employees who run and maintain the production IT/OT solutions. The production IT consist of several solutions, PCS/DCS system “SattLine” and a MES/MOM system “LMES” – (Local Manufacturing Execution System) as well as several dedicated equipment’s that are controlled with a PLC. Besides that, we maintain our IT platform for our OT solutions. The team members are divided into System Manager and IT supporter, and we cooperate close with our colleagues in the Automation/OT team.
Qualifications
You have a background as a Computer Technician, IT technologist or IT Supporter with a solid experience in Active Directory, Microsoft Windows, VM-ware etc. If you have experience or knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library - Service Now), this will also be an advantage.
You can work independently and have a will and desire to perform the daily tasks. At the same time you can take initiative in relation to solving new tasks.
Your communication skills must be mastered at several levels as the job includes contact with employees in several of the organization's layers, including Operations Operators, Operations Supporters, Team Leaders and Department Managers.
Our company is constantly developing, why readiness for changes are required. Active participation in business development initiatives is expected.
