At CHT, technology helps our teams deliver great care — and we’re looking for an IT Support Technician who enjoys solving problems, helping people and keeping things running smoothly.
This is a hands-on, varied role supporting staff across our sites with device setup, technology rollouts, everyday IT support and maintaining secure, reliable systems.

Role: IT Support Technician - Fixed term - 3 months
Location: Auckland, with regular travel to CHT sites as required
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with the IT Manager and wider team to provide responsive frontline support across our sites and support services.
Your day-to-day work will include:
• Preparing and configuring laptops, phones, tablets and other devices
• Supporting onsite hardware installations and new site setups
• Assisting with thin client rollouts and replacement projects
• Maintaining accurate asset and equipment records
• Responding to everyday IT support and security remediation tasks
• Escalating complex technical or security issues when needed
• Keeping tickets, documentation and user instructions up to date

• Willing to learn, travel and work across different sites
• Has basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and mobile devices is desirable.
• A full driver licence and ability to travel between sites is required.
