Location: Edmonton, AB

Status: One 8-month term, May 1 – December 31, 2026. This is a full-time paid position operating Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Reports To: Damion Gallimore, Technology Manager

About the Position

ATS Traffic has an exciting opportunity for a IT Co-op Student to join our business! Working closely with the Technology Team, this role is an excellent introduction to the IT field whereby you will gain valuable, real-word experience. Duties will include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, via phone and email as appropriate
  • Participate in IT related projects
  • Resolve help desk issues including troubleshooting hardware, software and business critical application issues
  • Participate in imaging, installing, configuring, developing and documenting systems
  • Perform administration duties including:
    • Office 365 Administration
    • ADS Administration
    • File share access permissions
    • Mobility Management

Hardware Inventory Management

  • Inventory adds/moves/changes
  • Readying equipment for shipping out to other branches
  • Maintenance of the Inventory Management system
  • Proper disposal of equipment

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a post secondary education program with a specialization in Information Technology or a related field.
    • Preference will be given to 3rd and 4th year students who have completed related courses.
  • A creative, fresh perspective and positive “can do” attitude!
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Intermediate skill level in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to learn new software.
  • Communication, collaboration
