As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be a part of our rapidly growing IT department. You will actively collaborate with other teams but also be the first point of contact for error reporting and support requests from other employees.

Responsibilities

  • Set up new user accounts and machines
  • Install and maintain hardware/software components on user PCs
  • Keep operating systems and software updated and patched to maintain user-level security
  • Replace defective hardware or systems when needed
  • Act as the first point of contact for error reporting and end-user support
  • Assist users in operating software and computer equipment
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware
  • Collaborate with the network team to manage Telephony systems
  • Maintain IoT devices (e.g., video conferencing systems, printers, etc.)
  • Work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve system/network issues
  • Record and update IT support tickets in the Jira Ticketing System
  • Manage the company's physical access control system
  • Update and review technical documentation
  • Perform additional duties as required

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
  • Excellent English language skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and MacOS operating systems
  • Understanding of computer hardware
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory
  • Experience with Google Workspace Admin is an advantage
  • Experience with Office 365 and Google Workspace applications
