In this role, we are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring, helping and challenging others The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following:

The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support and assistance to Bridges International and all affiliates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Install, repair, configure, update and/or re-image networked Windows PCs.
  2. Responsible for all help desk questions and/or inquiries.
  3. Reset passwords for all supported systems as needed.
  4. Setup new and/or closeout terminated accounts for all supported systems except the active directory.
  5. Assist with maintaining inventory and inventory needs.
  6. Update master system images for respective computer models.
  7. Maintain inventory and stock room, which requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  8. Responsible for onsite hardware installations, which requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  9. Must be able to travel when needed.
  10. Must maintain a valid drivers’ license.
  11. Must be available to work occasional evenings or weekend shifts.
  12. Must be able to perform the major functions of the jo with or without accommodations.
  13. Required to attend all mandatory training specified by policy
  14. Report all Workers Compensation injuries, whether they require medical attention or not, to their immediate supervisor and Human Resources.
  15. Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of immediately to your immediate supervisor and Human Resources.
  16. Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of the job description are followed and adhered to.
  17. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.



Qualifications

COMPETENCIES: Excellent problem solving/analysis skills, Communications proficiency, Ethical conduct, High level of confidentiality, Exceptional Customer Service, Keen attention to detail.

EXPERIENCE: 2+ years related experience. Knowledge of basic PC hardware and networking. Extensive application support experience.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. Associate degree in related Technology field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

CERTIFICATIONS:Vocational training or certification preferred.

% OF TRAVEL REQUIRED: 25%-50%

Education and Experience may be substituted for each other on a year-for-year basis as deemed applicable.
