IT Support Analyst – Creo & Windchill

Experience: 3-4 Years

Location: Wuxi China

Department: Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) / Engineering Systems

Role Summary

As a PLM Analyst, you will support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes with a strong focus on PTC Creo and Windchill. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective management of product data, CAD models, engineering changes, and product documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Creo design tools and Windchill PLM processes, helping drive product development efficiency, data integrity, and process standardization across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product data, CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation within Windchill.
• Create, modify, and validate 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using PTC Creo.
• Support engineering teams in product development, design modifications, and product release activities.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Change Orders through established workflows.
• Manage CAD document lifecycles, version control, revisions, and product structures (BOMs).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve product data and process-related issues.
• Utilize PLM tools and best practices to streamline product design and development processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational CAD standards, PLM governance policies, and engineering procedures.
• Support data migration, CAD validation, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide end-user support and training for Creo and Windchill applications.
• Assist in troubleshooting PLM/CAD issues and perform root cause analysis for recurring problems.
• Contribute to the enhancement and standardization of PLM processes and engineering workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in PLM, Engineering Design, Product Development, or CAD Administration roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with PTC Creo Parametric.
• Experience working with PTC Windchill or a similar PLM platform.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Exposure to Windchill upgrades, migrations, and system enhancement projects.
• Knowledge of ERP integrations, preferably SAP.
• Understanding of CAD data governance, quality management, and engineering processes.
• Familiarity with Agile and project management methodologies.
• Experience with CAD data migration and validation activities.
• Basic knowledge of PLM customization, reporting, or workflow automation.
• Knowledge of Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault is an added advantage.
• Experience working in a multi-CAD environment supporting both PTC and Autodesk solutions.
• Understanding of CAD-to-PLM integrations and engineering data exchange processes.
