We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting in the maintenance of IT systems. A strong understanding of Microsoft Windows and installing applications is considered an asset and will be beneficial in supporting our organization's technology needs. This is an onsite role based in our Calgary office.

• Provide second-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new equipment and software.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Support users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Assist with the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including network and server systems.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement IT policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on IT systems and best practices.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications

• A certificate, diploma, or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Intermediate understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
