The IT Support Specialist plays a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving the company’s technology infrastructure. Acting as a technical reference for users and internal teams, the incumbent actively contributes to the stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of information systems.

As a It Support Specialist, you must be able to

• Provide Level 2 technical support to users and act as the main resource for complex incidents and requests.
• Ensure the administration, maintenance, and proper operation of Microsoft environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy (GPO), and PowerShell.
• Manage and support virtualization environments, particularly VMware, as well as Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Manage system backup and recovery solutions, especially using Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize networking equipment and services, including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Monitor system performance and availability, detect anomalies, and intervene proactively to prevent service interruptions.
• Participate in the planning and execution of updates, migrations, backups, and technology improvements in accordance with industry best practices.
• Write and keep technical documentation, operational procedures, and user guides up to date.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure the application of security policies, access management, audits, and vulnerability testing.
• Work closely with system administrators, external partners, and various IT stakeholders in incident resolution and the evolution of the technology environment.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services and the optimization of internal processes.

What makes you an asset to our team

• Vocational diploma or college studies certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or advanced technical support.
• Excellent command of Microsoft environments, including Windows Server, Exchange, and Azure.
• Good knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
• Significant experience with virtualization tools, storage solutions, and backup systems, particularly Veeam.
• Strong experience in Cisco network administration, especially in a Cisco Meraki environment (MX, MS, MR).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls), and ITIL best practices.
• Excellent analytical, technical diagnostic, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
• Ability to write clear, structured, and accessible documentation.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required, both spoken and written.
