Brief Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software environments across the organization.

Possible Tasks within this Role

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Main responsibility – 100 % of time spent

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for our team, ensuring smooth operations across MacOS and Windows devices and tools.
  • Support identity and access management with Okta
  • Troubleshoot and administer Microsoft 365 apps and services.
  • Help colleagues make the most of Slack and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)
  • Cover IT aspects of employee lifecycle: onboarding newcomers and off-boarding leavers
  • Organize and coordinate replacement of end-of-lifecycle devices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical issues into business-friendly solutions.
  • Continuously improve IT processes, documentation, and user experience.

Qualification requirements

YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

At least 5 - 7 year’s experience as an IT Support specialist in a mid-to-large sized company or in an enterprise environment.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Masters in CS or related field.

  • Highly organized, approachable, and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills – you can translate “tech speak” into clear, understandable language.
  • A service-oriented mindset: you enjoy helping others succeed.
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn new tools, technologies, and workflows.
  • Experience supporting remote and hybrid teams.
  • Exposure to basic scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
  • Microsoft Systems Certification Engineer (MCSE)
  • Previous system design in a client server environment

WORK FLEXIBILITY

Requires up to 10% travel to participate in workshops, planning sessions, and leadership meetings with teams in different regions.
