Internship Details:

  • Offered: Summer 5/15/2026
  • Internship End Date: 7/24/2026
  • Duration: 10 weeks (students may be asked to voluntarily extend their commitment should business needs arise)
  • Part-time: 20hrs a week, and students must be available to work a minimum of 4 hours on days scheduled.
  • This is an on-site position in our Gainesville, Florida office.

What you will do in this internship:

  • Respond to and resolve incoming tier 1 requests by diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues as assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support team members when appropriate.
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure of tickets assigned.
  • Process tasks through various virtual platforms, as assigned.
  • Monitor equipment supplies by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, receiving and verifying deliveries, and stocking inventory.
  • Maintain and upkeep the equipment in the meeting rooms, conference rooms, and hotel desks.
  • Coordinate AV set-up configuration within our offices and external events.
  • Reconcile and process invoices; resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounts payable.
  • Prepare and send equipment for employees and offices.
  • Collaborate across various organizational departments and work with cross-functional teams to execute goals.
  • Research the latest IT trends and technologies to provide informed support and guidance.

Required Education and Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the following technologies: Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Azure, PowerShell, Remote Desktop Connection, Virtual Private Network (VPN), or equivalent systems.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Certified in Microsoft (Fundamentals),
  • CompTIA (A+)
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+

Technical and Soft Skills

  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, ethics, and a positive attitude.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management and organization skills.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Aptitude for learning and understanding technology platforms and various technical software.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to peers and technical leaders.
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
