As an IT Support Engineer, you will serve as the primary local IT contact for site operations, supporting both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. You will be responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient technology infrastructure while partnering with manufacturing, business, and regional IT teams to support business continuity and operational excellence.

Our team supports site operations through technology solutions that enable productivity, connectivity, and continuous improvement. This role works closely with local stakeholders, manufacturing teams, vendors, and regional support resources to deliver high-quality IT and OT services.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary onsite IT contact for hardware, software, and operational technology support.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve IT and OT issues affecting site operations.
• Support and maintain networking infrastructure, end-user devices, conference room technology, and digital signage solutions.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace standard hardware and technology assets.
• Coordinate local technology vendors and service providers.
• Support shop floor technologies and manufacturing device connectivity.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards related to cybersecurity, antivirus protection, patching, and infrastructure management.
• Assist with production transfers, infrastructure improvements, and technology-related projects.
• Partner with regional IT teams to identify and resolve network, server, storage, and infrastructure issues.
• Review system performance and support continuity of business operations.
• Communicate system outages, maintenance activities, and technology updates to stakeholders.
• Support secondary locations through remote and onsite assistance when required.
• Participate in hardware, software, and infrastructure deployment projects.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while balancing multiple priorities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in an IT-related role; OR Associate Degree and 7+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience supporting and maintaining:
• Network infrastructure
• Active Directory environments
• Data storage and backup solutions
• PC hardware and software
• Experience supporting manufacturing or connected factory environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 technologies and mobile device management solutions.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency.
• Ability to provide support outside standard business hours when necessary.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), MII, or similar manufacturing applications.
• Experience with OPC, Historian, RF scanners, label printers, tablets, and shop floor visualization technologies.
• Experience administering VMware environments.
• Experience with Windows Remote Desktop Services and thin client technologies.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking equipment.
• Experience with SAP environments, including SAP GUI, ECC, and PLM.
• Familiarity with SQL, Oracle databases, antivirus platforms, and enterprise server/storage technologies.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols.
