Job Description

What is Blinq?
Blinq is building the fastest, most intuitive way to share who you are and remember who you meet. What started as the world’s #1 digital business card is now the starting point for over 50 million new relationships a year - and growing at unicorn pace.
Our vision is to build the world’s intelligence layer for professional relationships - one that remembers for you, prompts when it matters, and keeps you in play. If that’s the kind of scale and ambition you want to be part of, you’re in the right place.
Why You’ll Love It Here
Rapid growth Doubling ARR every few months, expanding our product surface, and rapidly building our team across Sydney, San Francisco, Melbourne, and New York.
Well-resourced $45m+ raised from the likes of Blackbird, Touring Capital, Hubspot Ventures, and Square Peg - we’re continuously investing in the people and tools that fuel our mission.
A rare moment to join We’re hitting an inflection point - big enough to have momentum, small enough for you to shape the journey.
Customers love it 140k+ reviews and a 4.9/5 rating on the App Store - people around the world rely on Blinq to make that first interaction count.
We work in person, on purpose: We believe creativity and energy are better face-to-face - so we spend 3 days a week in the office and the rest where you work best.
Engineering at Blinq
Our engineering team is the engine behind Blinq’s success. We’re building tools that make sharing who you are instant and human. Every line of code, every release, and every experiment is focused on driving meaningful impact. If you thrive on solving complex, high-impact problems with a tight-knit team, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Bring
You will make it effortless for every Blinq team member to do their best work. From first-day device setup to solving complex system issues, you’ll remove friction before it slows anyone down. You won’t just fix problems. You’ll automate them away, strengthen our foundations, and help scale the internal engine powering a company redefining how real human connections start and thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver advanced L2/L3 support across macOS, Google Workspace, networking, VPNs, and core business systems
  • Design and implement automation using Bash, or JavaScript to eliminate repetitive manual work
  • Own device lifecycle management including onboarding, refresh, provisioning, and MDM administration
  • Managing permissions and access control across the organisation.
  • Maintain and evolve our knowledge base with clear, actionable documentation that scales with us
  • Support and improve office AV, networking, and hybrid collaboration setups across Melbourne and Sydney

What You’ll Bring

  • Up to 5 years experience in either IT support, systems, or internal infrastructure roles with strong macOS expertise
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Comfortable writing code in at least one language, and interested to learn new languages as needed. Curiosity to go deeper is a must
  • Clear communication and problem solving. You can support payroll one minute and execs the next without missing a beat
  • A pragmatic, ownership mindset. You make decisions, prioritize effectively, and constantly look for smarter ways to scale
Bonus points if you’ve worked with AWS, Azure, or GCP, UniFi, managed MDM platforms like Kandji, used Google Workspace, written automation in TypeScript, or managed changes via GitHub.
If you don’t tick every box, apply anyway. We care more about how you think, how you learn, and how you show up than a perfect checklist.
What You Get
We hold a high bar and move with intent. You’ll get the clarity, trust, and ownership to meet it - and a team that pushes to do the best work of our lives. We back that with:
Equity & ownership We’re building something massive, and we want you to share in the upside. Genuinely.
Competitive salary & growth path As Blinq grows, your role and compensation grow with it - no glass ceilings here.
Generous paid time off At least 20 days fully disconnect each year, with a flexible policy beyond that.
Free food Enjoy daily breakfast and lunch at some of our offices, plus an always-stocked snack bar.
