Job Description

ALUMIL is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT department.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, ensuring optimal performance of hardware, software, and network systems within our organization.

You will interact directly with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, while collaborating with team members to maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely first and second-level IT support to users, addressing hardware, software, and network problems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and inventory of IT assets.
• Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
• Train and guide users on IT policies and procedures.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Proven experience in IT support or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and common office software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are advantageous.
