The position
We are currently seeking to hire an IT Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at the premises of one of our clients in Athens, providing day-to-day support to the client’s personnel. Please note that while the role will be carried out on-site at the client’s location, the candidate the candidate will be officially employed by Athens Technology Center (ATC) and will report directly to Athens Technology Center (ATC.

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Maintain workstations, networks, and peripherals
  • Setup accounts and workstations
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting to end-users over the phone, email, or in-person
  • Collaborating with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement new projects and solve complex problems
  • Creating and updating technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification
  • 2+ years of experience in a related role
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications
  • Windows Server administration and Active Directory experience
  • Good knowledge of Networking
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and written
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and ticketing

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
