About the Role:
As an IT Support Engineer you are responsible for supporting our internal IT environment, customer systems, and the connectivity between them. You act as the highest escalation point for complex technical issues and work closely with R&D and international customers.
• Resolve complex issues related to camera systems, VPNs, and Windows environments
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Manage and support infrastructure (Microsoft/Linux servers, VMware, Kubernetes, Azure/365)
• Maintain and optimize networks (firewalls, routers, VPNs)
• Support product integrations and improve system scalability
• Collaborate with R&D and other (senior) engineers
• Communicate effectively with international customers
Requirements:
• English skills -advanced
• 4+ years in technical support or systems engineering
• Strong knowledge of Windows, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls), and VPNs
• Experience with VMware and basic Linux; Kubernetes is a plus
• Familiarity with video surveillance systems is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Nice to Have:
• Certifications (CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, Network+/Security+)
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
