A System Administrator/Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations,
maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems and infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Windows & System Administration:
Manage, maintain, and optimize Windows client environments (10 & 11).
Perform patch management, configuration, and security hardening of systems.
Troubleshoot complex OS-level issues, performance bottlenecks, and service failures.
Asset & Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventory records, including procurement,
assignment, movement, and retirement.
Utilize Excel-based tools and macros for tracking and reporting asset movement.
Implement and manage RFID device systems, including setup, monitoring, and
integration with asset tracking software.
Technical Support & Issue Resolution
Provide first and second-level support to end users for hardware, software, network,
and system-related issues.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device
problems.
Manage support tickets using ITSM tools (Jira, ServiceNow), ensuring timely
resolution within defined SLAs.
Offer remote and on-site support depending on issue criticality and user location.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate compliance, audit, and inventory reports using Excel, PowerShell, and Azure
tools.
Create and maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs), system
diagrams, and asset logs.
Creating SLA metrics and following up on ITIL process to manage the IT Service
Delivery system for self and team
User Onboarding & Offboarding
Coordinate with HR and other teams to deliver a smooth IT onboarding experience.
Conduct IT induction or training for new users on systems, tools, and IT policies.
Collect and deprovision IT assets, disable accounts, and revoke access during
offboarding.
Preventive Maintenance & Monitoring
Perform regular system health checks as part of IT Systems (AV/Conferencing device/
Server room maintenance and monitoring).
Proactively identify recurring issues or user pain points and recommend
improvements.
Monitor user hardware/software lifecycle and flag upgrades/replacements as needed.
Compliance & Policy Enforcement
Educate users on acceptable use policies, security practices, and data handling
procedures.
Support audit activities by providing logs or configuration details when requested.
Ensure systems adhere to endpoint security standards and report non-compliance.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Hands on experience in Windows system administration and IT operations for End
point computing.
Strong hands-on knowledge of PowerShell scripting, batch files, and Excel macros.
Proven experience with Azure Active Directory, Intune, and MDM/Compliance
management.
Solid understanding of Windows automation techniques and scheduled task
management.
Experience managing RFID devices and management consoles (e.g., Zebra, Impinj,
or similar platforms).
Proficiency in IT asset lifecycle management and inventory tracking systems.
Good knowledge of group policies, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user access
controls.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
English language – expert proficiency (additional languages are beneficial)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Microsoft System Administrator
Technology Certification
ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
Knowledge of RFID inventory platforms or custom integrations
Basic understanding of database/reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI – optional but
desirable)
