Job Description
Provide day-to-day on-site and remote support. This position will require a candidate that will be the technical expert on all areas of end user system support.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior level workstation/laptop support
- Provide support to Dodge & Cox Summer Intern and Mentoring Programs
- Ability to provide remote support for a professional hybrid work environment
- Systematically resolve issues related to workstations, laptops and printers
- Escalate and support level 3 engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve user problems
- Provide hardware support, tracking and management, including new (purchasing, installation), troubled (repairable) and end-cycle (recyclable) devices
- Ability to provide audio visual support for on-site and remote meetings
- Provide exceptional customer service while being able to manage day-to-day IT operations, critical situations and communicate the urgency of all issues as appropriate
- Manage and facilitate onsite and remote vendor services
- Provide security systems monitoring and maintenance, resolve incidents; and administer Security Cards
- Implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Document issues/problems and solutions for both IT team members and end users
- Be available as on-call support as needed
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years relevant technical and functional experience in a hybrid Windows based environment
- 3-5 years of experience supporting Windows and MacOS workstations, laptops, and virtual environments
- 3-5 years of experience providing technical support in the financial industry
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Will consider 5yrs experience or certifications in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to restore immediate use of systems
- Ability to interface with all levels of production and management Team
- Working knowledge of video conferencing technologies including Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Technical Qualifications
- Win 11 Outlook and Office 365 support and troubleshooting, SharePoint client end support
- System build, deployment, and maintenance
- Strong familiarity with desktop security products
- Firm understanding of Active Directory Administration
- Deep functional understanding of Lenovo Desktops & Laptops, MSFT Surface, iPhones, iPads
- Familiarity with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Management
- Experience with MDM systems such as MobileIron and Microsoft Intune
- Functional knowledge of one or more IT infrastructure fundamentals (e.g. basic networking skills, server, identity and access)
- Additional Training and Certifications:
- COMPTI A+ Certified
- Cisco Systems CCENT training completed
- Extensive AV Systems experience

Actual salary will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, market and work location. The client offers benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The salary for this position in San Francisco Bay Area is $130,000 - $160,000 USD.
