Multi-Location Retail | Entry Level
Company: Solvix Auto (dba Meineke Car Care) Location: Noblesville, IN
Type: Full-Time Reports To: IT Systems Administrator
Solvix Auto, a Meineke Car Care franchisee operating 56 locations across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois, is looking for an entry-level Operations Assistant to join our small but growing operations and IT team. This is a great opportunity for someone who's organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing both technical support and administrative work -- whether fresh out of school, self-taught, or coming from a customer service or operations background.
You'll split your time between technical support and office operations work. On the tech side, you'll handle day-to-day IT requests from our store network: phones, internet connectivity, printer troubleshooting, and hardware support. On the admin side, you'll manage tasks like billing and service trackers, process PTO requests, coordinate with vendors, and keep office systems running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who's organized, reliable, comfortable with both phone support and office systems, and ready to wear multiple hats in a small team.
Field and resolve day-to-day IT support requests from store locations, phones, internet/connectivity issues, printers, POS-adjacent hardware, and general troubleshooting
Coordinate with our ISPs and phone vendors (Comcast Business VoiceEdge, Spectrum, and others depending on store location) to report and track outages or service issues
Provide basic hardware support: diagnosing common PC issues, coordinating equipment swaps or repairs, and setting up new devices for store staff
Document recurring issues and maintain clear records of support requests and resolutions
Escalate more complex technical issues to the IT Systems Administrator as needed
Occasionally travel to nearby store locations for in-person support or equipment delivery/setup
Help maintain accurate device and equipment inventory across all locations
Manage billing and service trackers, including Lyft billing reconciliation and vendor charge reconciliation
Process and manage PTO requests, coordinate time-off approvals, and maintain scheduling calendars
A genuine interest in IT/tech support and a willingness to learn
Strong communication skills, comfortable explaining technical issues to non-technical staff, patiently and clearly, by phone or in person
Basic familiarity with Windows troubleshooting, general computer hardware, and common connectivity issues
Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple requests at once without getting overwhelmed
A valid driver's license (occasional local travel required)
Prior experience in a tech-adjacent retail role (e.g., Best Buy Geek Squad, Micro Center, similar)
Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, or basic networking concepts
No prior professional IT experience required, we're looking for the right attitude and aptitude as much as a resume.
Starting salary: $30,000/year (commensurate with experience)
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
