Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit an IT Support Analyst / Serialization to join our team at our Sapes premises.

As an IT Support Analyst / Serialization, the role is responsible for supporting the development, validation and administration of IT Serialization and Packaging applications, while overseeing the daily operation of serialized machines, systems and Master Data and providing relevant feedback to key stakeholders.

The position performs Serialization operations to support data transmission and serial number availability, while providing technical support for Packaging and Serialization systems and related Business Applications. It also supports internal users by troubleshooting systems, applications, devices and other technical issues in collaboration with the IT Department.

What you will do:

  • Support Packaging operations and coordinate with the core IT team for incidents, requests and technical issues related to Packaging systems and activities
  • Administrate and support Serialization applications used within Packaging operations
  • Manage and maintain Master Data across Serialization applications according to Packaging and facility requirements.
  • Participate at generation and execution of various GMP related documents and protocols, including several of the followings: URS, FS/DS, IQ, OQ & PQ
  • Create and maintain advanced reports and data analyses using appropriate reporting tools to support Packaging and Serialization operations
  • Support troubleshooting of Packaging and Serialization hardware and systems and provide technical support during Serialization operations
  • Provide first and second-level technical support for Packaging-related systems, applications, equipment, printers, peripherals and other technical infrastructure, in collaboration with the IT team where required
  • Perform routine checks of Packaging-related technical infrastructure and equipment interfaces, including network connectivity, UPS, power supply and other supporting infrastructure, in coordination with the relevant IT and Engineering teams
  • Support local onboarding and offboarding activities related to Packaging systems, applications and user access, in coordination with the relevant IT functions
  • Support the installation, configuration and maintenance of operating systems, software applications and hardware components associated with Packaging and Serialization systems
  • Participate in projects related to Packaging, Serialization, systems and associated technical infrastructure, and support the setup and maintenance of related meeting and collaboration infrastructure when required
  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and applications
  • Collaborate with Packaging, IT, Engineering, Quality and other relevant functions to escalate complex technical issues and coordinate their resolution

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT
  • Experience in supporting business applications, Packaging systems, Serialization systems or end-user technical support will be considered an asset

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of business and IT applications
  • Understanding of computer networks, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Good knowledge of English language
  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
