Yavapai County Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking an IT Specialist IV as a Programmer Analyst to join our team!
The Programmer Analyst is a technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software applications that support Yavapai County operations. This position analyzes business needs, builds and enhances solutions, and identifies opportunities to modernize legacy systems, while ensuring day to day reliability and support for the applications departments depend on. The Programmer Analyst works independently to manage their own projects and timelines, while collaborating closely with departmental stakeholders and internal technical teams, including GIS staff when applications involve spatial data or geodatabases.
This is an onsite position with no remote work option.

Will have direct experience in the following areas:
PowerShell, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Microsoft DevOps, Visual Studio, C#, VB.NET, ASP.Net, SSIS, SSRS, SQL.
Familiarity with spatial data concepts, geodatabases, coordinate systems, and general GIS workflows and the ability to collaborate with GIS staff and integrate spatial data into enterprise applications when needed is preferred.
Salary hiring range is $74,111.36 to $94,491.97.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in information technology or related field. An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
The work environment is associated with an office. The work area is adequately lighted, heated or cooled and ventilated.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, crawl under desks, climb ladders, and walk on uneven ground routinely. Sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person and telephonically. Standing and walking between work areas is frequently required. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists. Capable of overhead lifting; lift and carry up to 45 pounds; push and pull materials and objects up to 100 pounds with assistive equipment such as a pallet jack.
