- Ayvens Mexico is looking for an IT specialist, to manage and maintain the operational aspect of corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, WAN, wireless, email, security, vulnerabilities, servers, file systems, and printing.
OVERVIEW -
- This position administers and maintains operational aspect of corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, WAN, wireless, email, security, vulnerabilities, servers, file systems, and printing.
- The position will be responsible for providing solutions and advanced technical knowledge to implement and support network and data services that align with the Company’s business and IT objectives.
- Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems, internet access, office systems and applications support), designs and implements of functional network infrastructure while adhering to industry best practices.
- Design and incorporate security controls in new, legacy, and in-progress environments undergoing general IT transitions/upgrades
- Sets up and monitors for efficiency, primary network operations, network hardware, and provides company policy concerning network connectivity for all company assets.
- Monitors network performance and integrity. Suggests improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability Maintain advanced knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for modifying infrastructure and/or services to meet current and future expectations. Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
- Manages small to medium sized projects according to budgets and schedules agreed upon.
- Assists with technology planning through ongoing research
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Operating Systems (Windows Server and Windows 11)
- Network administration (switch, router, Wi-Fi, Wan, etc.)
- Server administration (windows server)
- Generate reports, plans, schedules, always within ITIL framework
- Plan maintenance, upgrades, updates, remediations, troubleshooting with 3rd party vendors.
- Analyze, implement and lead basic to medium infra projects.
- Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities within all Infrastructure
- Engage with central support teams from different countries to troubleshoot Infra incidents
- Monitor and analyze (capacity management) on all Infrastructure.
- Engage with 3rd party vendors to quote Infra services.
- Analyze trends and generate KPI reports of Infra incidents / requests

Technical Skills
- Networking Fundamentals (IP Addressing, Subnets, DNS, DHCP)
- Operating Systems (Windows Server and Windows 11)
- Wireless Networking Fundamentals
- Cloud Computing Fundamentals
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals
- Automation and Scripting Fundamentals (PowerShell)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Encryption)
- ITIL Fundamentals (IT Service Management)
- IT Process Documentation Fundamentals
- Business-level English required

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION - Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience providing end-user support in a corporate environment, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
