About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist a solid background in software development, strong business acumen, and proven team leadership skills. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with management capabilities to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT software development, foster technical team growth, and align services with evolving customer needs. You will operate in an international environment, overseeing both technical operations and customer-facing responsibilities.
- Provide IT support across helpdesk, infrastructure, and cloud solutions, preferably within a software development environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage and maintain hardware systems, including servers, storage devices, and network equipment.
- Configure and manage firewalls, preferably from vendors such as SonicWall or Fortinet.
- Support and monitor network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
- Manage internet connectivity solutions including VPNs, LAN, and WAN.
- Ensure adherence to information security best practices and utilize security tools such -as endpoint protection.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Support and administer Microsoft Office 365 applications and environments.
- Manage multiple technical tasks and prioritize workloads effectively.
Skills and Competencies:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years in IT (Helpdesk, infrastructure, and cloud solutions).
- Strong knowledge of hardware, network systems, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and information security practices.
- Familiarity with firewall management, network routing, and switching.
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Keen attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities.
