What You’ll Do: As an IT Specialist, you’ll be the first line of support for our employees at our operating locations and in the field when they need technical support. You’ll field telephone calls, help desk tickets, and emails from internal customers seeking real-time guidance and solutions to technical problems. You’ll work to maintain internet connectivity, guide users through the process of resolving issues, and inspect, maintain, and repair hardware. You’ll be responsible for setting up, managing, and troubleshooting our technology systems and maintaining computer and software networks.
Responsibilities:
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
- Document, track and resolve issues using a ticketing system
- Adhere to security and compliance requirements in a highly regulated environment
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed
- Track and assign IT assets issued to end users via an ITAM system
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Be able to protect confidentiality of sensitive organizational data
- Keen attention to detail
- Good organization, time management and prioritization
- Efficient troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills with employees at all levels
Minimum Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or computer engineering required. May substitute combination of vocational/technical education and 1+ years’ experience as an IT Specialist.
1+ year of experience in the IT field (may include practicum or internship experience).
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Microsoft environment (including GCC High tenant), Entra, Intune, and Azure
- Experience creating and managing end-user accounts
- Experience with troubleshooting networking issues
- Solid understanding of Windows endpoints and IOS platforms
Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands:
- Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
- Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, forward reaching between waist and chest level.
