As an IT Solutions Consultant, you will focus on growing Xerox’s IT services and technology solutions portfolio within existing commercial accounts. You will identify client technology needs, develop qualified opportunities, and position business-focused solutions across managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, help desk, and digital workplace offerings.

This quota-bearing role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who can build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders, connect client challenges to practical IT solutions, and drive measurable growth within Xerox’s expanding technology services portfolio.

What You Will Do

Drive IT Solutions Growth

  • Develop and execute IT solutions account plans that identify technology whitespace, prioritize managed IT and cybersecurity opportunities, and expand Xerox’s role as a trusted technology services partner within existing customer accounts.
  • Through consultative discovery, you will identify client needs related to endpoint support, network reliability, cybersecurity readiness, cloud migration, aging infrastructure, help desk performance, user productivity, compliance requirements, and IT cost optimization.

Build Executive and Technical Relationships

  • Develop relationships with business owners, IT leaders, operations executives, and financial decision makers. Conduct regular client conversations to understand business objectives, technology priorities, and upcoming initiatives.

Uncover Technology and Business Challenges

  • Ask thoughtful questions to identify operational inefficiencies, security concerns, technology gaps, and growth opportunities. Connect client challenges to solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Lead Consultative Sales Engagements

  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and close. Coordinate with Xerox technical specialists and subject matter experts to develop and present solutions.

Maintain Pipeline Excellence

  • Manage opportunities, forecasts, and account activity within Salesforce CRM. Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and execute consistent prospecting and account development activities.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with Xerox IT specialists, solution architects, and service delivery teams to ensure clients receive the expertise and support needed throughout the sales process.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Consultative Sales Experience
  • Proven success selling technology solutions in a B2B environment. Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers.

IT Services Knowledge

  • Ability to qualify IT opportunities by understanding the client’s current technology environment, business priorities, decision process, budget considerations, and technical requirements.
  • Partner with Xerox IT specialists to align recommended solutions for managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, networking, infrastructure, or related technology solutions.

Business Acumen

  • Ability to understand client business objectives and connect technology investments to operational and financial outcomes.

Relationship Building Skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience building credibility with executives and IT leaders.

Technology Proficiency

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and sales productivity tools.

Drive and Accountability

  • Self-motivated, organized, and resilient. Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment while managing multiple opportunities and consistently achieving growth objectives.
