Job Description

Why join us?

Muuto is rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition characterized by enduring aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship and an honest expression. By expanding this heritage with forward-looking materials, techniques and bold creative thinking, our ambition is to deliver new perspectives on Scandinavian design.

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join a small IT team that acts as an important enabler of our business growth, through the IT platforms and infrastructure. We are responsible for managing the core application landscape that includes Business Central, Power BI, Microsoft CRM, Occtoo and Optimizely.

Solutions Architect

Our IT infrastructure and application landscape is primarily cloud based. Currently our focus is enhancing the application landscape to meet the business requirements. You will have the ownership of relevant solution architecture, lead the analysis, planning and monitoring the implementation activities, involved in transforming our solutions and processes to meet the business requirements.

Your responsibilities

  • Own and define the overall solution architecture across ERP, CRM, and BI, ensuring consistency and composability across the application landscape

  • Translate business requirements into architecture and solution designs, prioritizing standard platform capabilities over custom development

  • Define the Power BI and analytics architecture

  • Define and govern CRM architecture and integrations with Business Central and Power BI, ensuring clear system‑of‑record principles.

  • Design and oversee integration patterns (APIs, Power Platform, middleware) to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, principles, and non‑functional requirements (security, performance, compliance).

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure aligned and value‑driven solutions.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree within computer science, computer engineering or a comparable technical discipline

  • 2-5 years’ experience working as a solution architect, solution designer, Business Application consultant or a comparable technical role

  • Track record in designing and implementing IT systems in projects, ideally through migration or transformation projects of a certain size and complexity

  • Experience working with Business Central, ideally backend

  • Project management skills with a solid understanding of project delivery and the basic principles of both classic and agile project management methods (such as Prince II, SAFe etc.)

  • Highly analytical mindset, paired with good consulting and communication skills that enable you to identify and highlight the benefits and consequences of decisions that impact business processes

  • Capability to work both independently as well as part of a team with professionals at all levels

  • You are a problem solver by heart, passionate about providing service through technology, where you will strive to help your colleagues realize their business goals through IT solutions.

  • Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English

What we offer?

We believe in leadership at all levels. Therefore, we foster a culture that encourages you to take the lead on your specific development level. This provides you with the opportunity to apply your strengths and work with your passions. MUUTO offers a great work environment, characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, openness, responsibility, and a sympathetic team-minded approach to problem-solving.

The start date is as soon as possible.
