We are looking for: SAP Basis Security and Architecture consultant

You’ll break new ground by:

• Define, develop, and manage SAP system architectures, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, PI/PO, Fiori, and coordinated non‑SAP systems.
• Work closely with SAP Basis operations for installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for SAP platforms in collaboration with enterprise architects.
• Provide expert‑level fix and support for sophisticated SAP technical and performance issues.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with SAP and Siemens security standards, including Zero Trust, SSO, GDPR, SOX, and Security Measurement Plans.
• Evaluate and implement security standards for new SAP technologies, such as SAP BTP, SAP RISE, and cloud‑native solutions.
• Implement and optimize SAP cybersecurity controls and security configurations.
• Advise on SAP security standard processes and frameworks, including the SAP Security Baseline.
• Guide and mentor junior SAP Basis administrators and project team members.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and system configurations.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of SAP Basis experience, with 1–2 years in an SAP architecture role
• Shown experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP HANA, including database and security standards.
• Good knowledge of SAP NetWeaver technologies such as ABAP, Java, Fiori, Gateway, and Cloud Connector
• Hands‑on experience in system performance tuning, monitoring, and tackle, using tools like SAP Solution Manager and CCMS
• Proven knowledge of SAP system security, secure connectivity, and SAP system audits
• Experience working in hybrid or cloud SAP environments, especially SAP on Azure
• Exposure to SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and SAP cloud migration projects
• Experience with DevOps, scripting, and automation tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes or experience working in ITIL‑based environments
• Understanding of SAP Security Management concepts.
• Exposure to project management or Agile methodologies
• Good communication , coordination, and documentation skills.
• Strong architectural and analytical thinking
• Security‑first perspective
• Ability to work across teams and technologies
• Willingness to mentor and lead by example
