The IT Support Specialist provides comprehensive technical support for hardware, software, network, and server‑related issues encountered by end users. This role supports a wide range of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, monitors, keyboards, printers, wireless scanners, mobile devices, Wi‑Fi access, and other peripherals. The position also delivers Level 2/Level 3 support for AE Infrastructure (servers and IT infrastructure) as required. The IT Support Specialist reports directly to the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve IT technical issues for internal customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Log, monitor, escalate, resolve, and close incidents and requests using the Service Desk system.
  • Provide desktop and end‑user support, including PC problem tracking, diagnostics, and courteous resolution.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain software, PCs, printers, switches, servers, copiers, and related IT equipment.
  • Deploy new PCs, manage PC roll‑downs, and maintain accurate IT asset records, inventories, and loaner systems.
  • Escalate advanced technical issues to appropriate support resources and collaborate with managers and team leads on priorities.
  • Coordinate closely with IT vendors, suppliers, and the Purchasing team for evaluation and procurement of IT and network equipment.
  • Support users with IT requirements, onboarding and training, manufacturing systems, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Field with MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA. ITIL Certification.
  • With 2 years of LAN, Network, Servers and PC experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS, Outlook, Office, Active Directory (domain accounts & DHCP), and end‑user device setup for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
  • Strong experience in network and infrastructure support, including wired/wireless LANs, Dell Servers, VxRail, Nutanix, Cisco 9300 switches, VOIP (Cisco), access points, and printer/multifunction device configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in ground‑up deployment, configuration, maintenance, and repair of laptops, desktops, and network-connected peripherals.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), with a patient, customer‑focused, and service‑oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Preferred (MCSE)MCITP or CCNA certification.
    • 1 year plus years experience working with both networking and Micorosoft systems.
    • 1 year supporting Active Directory and servers in a production environment.
    • Experience in using Srvice Desk Tool such as Service Now.
    • Wired and Wireless network design and implementation
