Your Job

As an IT Site Administrator, you will serve as the primary local IT contact and trusted technical resource for Operations Technology at the Nogales site. In this role, you will support hardware and software environments, help maintain reliable and secure technology operations, and partner with business, operations, and IT teams to ensure effective delivery of technology solutions across the facility.

Our Team

You will be part of the Corporate IT organization, working closely with Operations Technology, KBS support teams, business stakeholders, and local operations personnel. This role collaborates with internal departments, regional IT teams, and external vendors to support technology infrastructure and operational excellence across the site.

What You Will Do

  • Provide hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution for Operations Technology systems.
  • Support the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and lifecycle replacement of technology equipment and infrastructure.
  • Administer and support network connectivity, application access, security controls, and adherence to enterprise technology standards.
  • Partner with business and operations teams to ensure effective technology support for shop floor operations and connected manufacturing environments.
  • Coordinate with regional IT and network teams to identify, escalate, and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues.
  • Support local projects involving hardware, software, and infrastructure improvements while maintaining compliance with company standards.
  • Assist with conference room technology, digital signage, production transfers, production layout initiatives, and secondary site support activities.
  • Help maintain system performance, backup validation, data protection, and security compliance across supported environments.
  • Communicate system incidents, maintenance activities, and operational updates to stakeholders and management as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience supporting and maintaining network equipment, Active Directory, data storage, backup infrastructure, and PC hardware and software support.
  • 1+ year of experience in a connected factory environment supporting shop floor device connectivity.
  • Experience administering virtual environments, messaging technologies, Microsoft 365, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, customer service, prioritization, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work outside traditional business hours when required.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing execution systems (MES) or related shop floor technologies, including OPC, Historian, label printers, RF scanners, tablets, and visualization tools.
  • Experience managing technology-related projects.
  • Knowledge of industrial control technologies such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, and related communication protocols.
  • Experience administering VMware environments, Windows Remote Desktop Services, and thin client technologies.
  • Familiarity with SAP integration capabilities, SAP GUI, ECC, PLM, Cisco technologies, Ethernet networks, Oracle, SQL, antivirus tools, and HP and Dell server and storage platforms
