IT Service Manager – Modernization & Microservices Program (Hybrid – Brussels)
We are looking for an experienced IT Service Manager to support a major digital transformation and modernization program focused on migrating a legacy monolithic platform to a modern microservices architecture running on Kubernetes.
The role combines service management, team coordination, technical oversight, and continuous improvement within a large-scale enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support IT teams within a large transformation program
Ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction
Monitor reporting, KPIs, dashboards, planning, and documentation activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational optimization
Support collaboration across technical and business teams
Participate in the transition toward API-first and event-driven architectures
Ensure alignment between IT services and evolving business requirements
Facilitate communication between technical teams and management stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in IT Service Management and team coordination
Expertise in DB2 and data quality principles
Good understanding of:
Microservices architecture
Kubernetes environments
REST APIs and asynchronous communication (queues, event-driven systems)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with KPI reporting, planning, and operational documentation
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-team environments
Experience coaching, supporting, or managing IT professionals is highly valued
Languages
English: Active knowledge
French and/or Dutch: Nice to have
