Job Description

The IT System Administrator will be located in the Geneva office and will report to the local Infrastructure Team Leader.

  • Hands-on and multi-tasking: including installation, upgrades, configuration, administration and maintenance of mostly Windows server based systems
  • Manage local and remote office projects from beginning to end
  • Maintain bespoke application environments for Trading application infrastructure; upgrade, patch, provision
  • Vendor management, providers & other internal business teams
  • Cover working hours and expect duty to expand beyond normal business hours, including some weekends
  • BAU 3rd line support & occasional 1st & 2nd level support escalation
  • May be required to travel to remote office locations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Preferably Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or related active IT certifications
  • Proficient in Active Directory Domain Services administration, DNS, DHCP and Group Policies
  • Proficient in Windows Server Administration (Windows 2016 and above). Windows Core experience beneficial
  • Proficient VMware ESXi and vCenter administration (7.0 at least), including experience with the upgrade cycle
  • Good experience working with NetApp storage (FAS and E-Series), NFS/CIFS protocols
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 products including Azure AD
  • Proficient in Veeam backup technologies
  • SQL Server Administration, Installation, configuration
  • Centreon Monitoring Platform
  • Proficient in Citrix XenApp & Desktop 7.x, NetScaler ADC, Citrix Studio/Director, Citrix DaaS will be a plus
  • Good experience working with Exchange Server Administration (Exchange 2016 and above) – mailbox management, retention policies, message troubleshooting & SMTP relay settings
  • Enhance team productivity and repetitive tasks by using, PowerShell, Python or Power BI, will be a plus
  • Manage Microsoft patch cycle and deploy patches to Servers using SCCM
  • Good working knowledge of SCCM
  • Global Networking topology understanding (DMZ, load balancing, firewall, Vlans, etc…)
  • Proficient experience working with datacenters (racking hardware, patching and HPE iLO configuration)
