We are now looking for an IT Operation Specialist to our Ops team to solve incidents, handle deployments, assist in problem management and work with other application management related tasks. You will work as a part of the Nordea Finance Operations & Technology unit where we support close to 200 applications in 5 legal entities. You will work together with colleagues from other Nordic countries and our extended delivery center in India.

About our team

Welcome to the Ops team within Nordea Finance IT. We add value by securing that our systems are available for our internal users in addition to our external customers and partners. As the IT Operations Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in solving incidents and problems within service level agreements, collaborate with other IT & Business subject matter experts across the company. This role is based in Finland.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling and coordinating productions issues – solving incidents and problems tickets
  • Handling and coordinate production deployments – executing changes tickets
  • Handling and coordination ad hoc request from various stakeholders – service requests
  • Collaborating with developers and hardware/infrastructure engineers
  • Provide technical expertise on complex technical issues and also guide your team members in solving technical problems in your area
  • Communicating / collaborating with variety of external vendors and internal service provider units

Your experience and background:

  • Good knowledge of:
    • Cobol
    • VMS RMS system
    • Good knowledge of OpenVms operating system
    • OpenVms DCL
    • Datatrieve
    • TDMS
    • CDD for OpenVms
    • OpenVms CMS
    • TCP/IP based messages
    • ITIL Framework hands on experience on Incidents, Change and Problem tickets
