IT & Security Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

Role Summary: We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer to be the primary point of contact for our office in Singapore. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of our local IT environment, providing timely technical support to employees, and acting as the local hands-on partner for global infrastructure and security initiatives. Key Responsibilities: 1. End-User Support & SLA Management: Manage day-to-day IT support (hardware, OS, peripherals, and network access) for local staff, ensuring high service levels and timely issue resolution. 2. Network & Infrastructure Operations: Provide first-line response for local network issues (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN) and manage on-site infrastructure hardware (racking, inspection, and maintenance). 3. Security Policy Enforcement: Execute global security policies locally, including terminal compliance (EDR, patching), access management (MFA, Zero Trust), and audit readiness. 4. Security Incident Response: Serve as the local first responder for security events (e.g., terminal alerts), coordinating with global security teams for threat mitigation, isolation, and digital forensics. 5. Global Collaboration: Partner with global IT and security teams to manage local assets, execute IT projects, and ensure all local operations adhere to security protocols and project SOPs.

Qualifications

1. Technical Support Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT onsite support or operations, with a strong commitment to service excellence and ticket closure discipline. 2. OS & Terminal Management: Proficient in troubleshooting and managing Windows/macOS endpoints; experience with MDM/Intune/GPO or similar management platforms is a plus. 3. Network Fundamentals: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN; capable of diagnosing and resolving common network connectivity issues. 4. Security Operations: Experience in managing endpoint security (EDR/Antivirus) and security access tools (MFA/SSO); strong awareness of data compliance and privacy protection. 5. Professional Communication: Excellent English communication skills to engage with local staff and collaborate with global teams, coupled with a disciplined and analytical approach to problem-solving. Note: This role is based on-site in Singapore and requires participation in an on-call rotation for emergency support.
